Knotfest Performers, Tommie McCullough (Formerly of Born for War) and Micah McCullough (Formerly from Kings of Carnage), have teamed up to create a new band called Through Trials, which is a metal band out of Beaumont, TX. 
 

Our music is born out of the ashes of despair, through our own trials, to create meaningful music to those in their darkest hour whether thats within the political spectrum of the world today or with personal life issues.

The band is in its formative stage, but is made up of two Marine Corps veterans, Tommie and Micah. Tommie and Micah first met in 2014 while playing a show while living in California. The two ended up creating a lasting and wonderful friendship and love for one another. Eventually, time took its toll and the two found themselves struggling against all odds in Texas in their darkest moments in life, but that didn’t stop them. They decided to come together to make music together to change the tide of their suffering and to help others through what they could create.

At this point in time, we have an unconfirmed drummer and bassist, but we are working hard on writing and recording and plan to release our music by late 2020.
